SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL Presents:
Classical trio - harpist, Marina Roznitovsky Oster (Israel), flutist; Josue Casillas (Puerto Rico); and soprano, Anna Helwing (Poland) will present a poetic program, evoking nature themes. This year the group is joined by a guest violinist - Vanessa Porter. In one of the most “appealing musical blends of instruments and voice that I have ever heard”, as one of listeners remarked, the trio will play pieces on flowers, birds, trees, water, and the like. The program is organized in a setting of sunrise, midday, and sunset, accentuated by stage light design. Works by such classical composers as Strauss, Delibes, Conant, Debussy, as well as a premiered work for violin and harp written by a contemporary American composer, Jeffrey Hoover will be performed.
The performance will take place at Galerry 308, in building A.
